For my last semester as an undergrad at UNCW, I had to do a capstone project to demonstrate what I’ve learned under the Digital Arts major. It’s like a thesis paper in some ways. I volunteered to help Dr. Tina Newsham develop a new website that would showcase many career paths that may be closely or slightly related to the field of gerontology, and provide information to students, job seekers, and employers. The website is in no way completed, so Dr. Newsham will very likely have to find another senior to continue developing this website next semester, but I started the groundwork and made some imagery for the website itself, including the logo seen above.
Since Dr. Newsham will probably have to buy a domain name and publish the ECA website in the future, I will not be sharing any of the code I wrote here, but I still have some things I made with Illustrator and some screenshots of the ECA website I can show. I also have an in-depth paper I had to write for the project that goes deeper into the development process in case anyone is interested.
